The much-anticipated *Dhadak 2*, a sequel to the 2018 film *Dhadak*, initially scheduled for release on November 22, 2024, has reportedly been delayed until early 2025.

Directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Karan Johar, the movie will feature Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in leading roles.

Unlike the first film, *Dhadak 2* intends to dive more deeply into themes of caste dynamics, which are central to the plot.

The story will explore the struggles of two lovers from different castes, promising a more intense, socially conscious narrative than its predecessor【7†source】【8†source】【9†source】.

Delays have occurred due to unfinished scenes and additional post-production work, with an anticipated completion by the first quarter of 2025.
